About Us

Dyslexia Dreams Organization was founded by Osii Cancines Otieno in 2002. Being a practicing teacher, he was moved by the plight of learners who suffer under the unfair learning experiences and environment in Kenya.

The organization was initially aimed at creating awareness of this condition to teachers, parents, and to advocate for the well-being of these learners in their respective learning institutions.

Driven by a belief that every child deserves a fair chance, Osii’s vision has grown from a single classroom into a nationwide movement — encompassing advocacy, a rescue-center school, and partnerships with government and civil society.
